Youth ministry is more than just laser quest, bowling and pizza. Youth ministry is about offering a space that enables, encourages, and assists youth as they engage in God’s mission alongside the rest of the community as we ALL follow Jesus Christ. It reflects the need to ask difficult questions and wrestle with what a Christian life entails versus the promises of pop culture.
All Saints seeks to provide a safe place where youth are invited to come with their doubts, their questions, and their longings about God as we seek to learn what discipleship looks like in the 21st century. We warmly welcome all youth to join us! We currently work in partnership with the neighbouring Anglican Parish of Holy Saviour to offer a full and robust youth program. There are two youth groups at All Saints Anglican Church.
LIGHT (Leaping into God’s Holy Teaching) is for youth in grades 5 to 8 and who meet with other youth from Holy Saviour at Holy Savior Anglican church, our Youth Ministry partners, by-weekly on Friday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30.
SALT (Searching Anglicans Loyal Teens) meets bi-weekly on the Tuesday of the off week of LIGHT at All Saints and is for youth from grade 9-12. This group meets from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Both groups meet around the table and share a meal, much as Jesus’ own disciples shared a meal and learned the foundations of discipleship. Bring a friend, enjoy a meal and jump into learning about Christianity with both feet.
